MUKILTEO, Washington -- Wizard International, a leading manufacturer of computerized mat cutters, announces the hiring of Brian Wolf, CPF, GCF, as its Director of Standards and Training. The first to hold this newly created position, Wolf will be responsible for setting and maintaining operation standards for the Wizard CMC, along with providing internal training and education. He will assume the role on May 15, 2002.

His adaptations of traditional French matting are widely used and he is known worldwide as the inventor of mat carving. Wizard software will soon feature more of Wolf's exclusive corner and mat design templates. The new designs aim to inspire framer creativity, while making the more elaborate designs highly marketable to frame shop customers.

Maintaining a high degree of industry visibility, Wolf will continue as a contributing editor for Décor Magazine and a consultant for Crescent Cardboard. He will also continue to offer education and training at industry tradeshows, both in and out of the Wizard's exhibitor booths."Having spent the last 27 years in retail framing, I have seen the promise of technology unfold.
