Wizard International - Computerized Mat Cutters and Framing

ELLENBERG, Germany -- Wizard of Europe’s headquarters in Ellenberg, Germany, is now officially open for business. The company hosted a grand opening celebration on Saturday, May 17, as the official launch of Wizard International’s European expansion.

The newly remodeled 6,600 square-foot facility will host the training, service and sales departments for all of Europe and South Africa. The office will offer continuous support for existing authorized distributors in England, Scandinavia, Netherlands, Spain, and recently added, South Africa. Sales and service for Germany, France, Switzerland and Austria will be handled directly by WOE staff.

Ellenberg is located approximately one hour north of Ulm, Germany, the birthplace of Albert Einstein, and has become a quiet, but well known and respected European framing community over the past 10 years. Crescent Cardboard and New York Graphics Society also have offices nearby.

“Ellenberg is indeed a small town; however it is surrounded by a prime framing community. Its central Europe location will provide Wizard CMC customers and distributors with convenient access to Wizard of Europe and its new training facility,” said Axel Hofmann, Wizard of Europe Operations Manager.

To spearhead sales and marketing efforts, WOE recently hired Petra Letson, former owner and operator of Galarie Athanasius in Frankfurt, Germany. Letson recently sold her successful framing business of 15 years to move to Ellenberg, allowing her to take on the full-time position. For the past eight years, Letson has also been a demonstrator and consultant for many framing companies in Europe, including WOE’s US parent company, Wizard International, Inc. Antonio Frangione, a former Telekom Computer Service Technician of more than 7 years, will handle service and technical support operatives. Axel Hofmann, former product manager at Wizard International, Inc., will lead the headquarters’ general management.
